The OSU Folk Club Thrift Shop Foundation, a 501(c) (3) organization, offers scholarships to Benton County high school graduates and non-traditional women who will attend Oregon State University in the fall. In 2017, 23 scholarships of $3000 each were awarded to 12 entering OSU freshman from Benton County high schools, 4 second year OSU students (previous Folk Club freshman recipients), and 5 OSU non-traditional women students. New in 2017, a scholarship of $1,500 for non-traditional women students attending OSU on a part-time basis was created and awarded to 2 students.
