As Folk Club celebrates over 100 years, our purpose continues to be service to OSU and the community, as well as friendship among the women of Oregon State.

The Folk Club wecomes you to the OSU community, whether you are new, returning, or have been here for a while.  If you are looking for ways to met people and perhaps do some volunteering, the OSU Folk Club might be the answer.  We don't do folk dances or sing folk songs, but we do get together as volunteer workers and to enjoy each other's company for learning and just for fun.

We are an organization of current or former OSU women employees, wives/female partners of OSU employees and workers at the OSU Folk Club Thrift Shop who are united in friendship and service. The Folk Club's nearly 300 members stay connected and active through interest groups and programs both entertaining and educational. The Folk Club offers various programs, usually 7 times  during the year,  with lunches, entertainment and informative seminars that are open to members and their guests.  We also have interest groups-- in addition to volunteering at the OSU Folk Club Thrift Shop, there are activity groups such as Hiking/Walking, Menuettes, OSU Folk Club/OSU Crossroads Scholar Friendship Coffees,  and several Book Clubs.  Our periodic newsletter, the Fanfare, keeps our members informed of these activities.

Many of our members volunteer at the OSU Folk Club Thrift Shop, now celebrating over 70 years of service to the community.
