“Winning one your scholarships made my whole summer!" Scholarship recipient Diane Brazell (with OSU Thrift Shop Chair Mary Ann Matzke)

90 years supporting our community

Since 1930, the OSU Folk Club Thrift Shop Foundation has awarded scholarships benefiting students attending Oregon State University. Last year, these scholarships totaled nearly $60,000 thanks to the generosity and support of our community!

Folk Club scholarships are made possible by proceeds from the OSU Folk Club Thrift Shop and by donations from individuals or organizations. Contact us to learn more about how your donations can make an impact on local students.

Students

  • High School scholarships support Benton County seniors who will attend Oregon State full or time or through dual enrollment at LBCC.
  • Non-traditional student scholarships support students age thirty or older who will attend Oregon State full-time or part-time.

Congratulations to our 2020–2021 Scholarship awards recipients.

This year we awarded nineteen $3,000 and one $1500 scholarships for a total of $58,500 to students attending Oregon State University. Thank you to all of the Thrift Shop Workers (and Consigners) whose efforts made this possible.

We were unable to meet our students for a scholarship dessert this year, but invite you to learn more about our recipients!
