During the open applications period, some printed copies of both scholarship applications are usually available at the Thrift Shop on the counter by the entrance.

The OSU Folk Club Thrift Shop Foundation, a 501(c) (3) organization, offers scholarships to Benton County high school graduates and non-traditional women who will attend Oregon State University in the fall. In 2018, 21 scholarships of $3000 each were awarded to 11 entering freshman from Benton County high schools, 5 second year students (previous Folk Club freshman recipients), and 3 non-traditional women students. New in 2017, a scholarship of $1,500 for non-traditional women students attending OSU on a part-time basis was created. In 2018 scholarships of $1500 and $500 were awarded to 2 part-time non-traditional students.
